Located in Mongomery County, PA, Collegeville is a suburb of outside Philadelphia on the Perkiomen Creek. It is a little college borough, home of Ursinus College, with roughly 5,000 residents. Ursinus College opened in 1869 and the borough was incorporated in 1896.
The area Collegeville covers was a part of the original charter given to William Penn in 1684, but the borough wasn’t established till much later.
