Choose the features for your perfect porch in Collegeville
Open Porch
The standard porch with a roof and open sides. The roof provides protection from direct sunlight, rain, and other types of precipitation. The walls are open allowing easy access to the outdoors.
Screened-in Porch
Protect yourself from bugs and bees while still enjoying the fresh breeze. Screens can be made from lightweight fiberglass mesh to heavier metal for added security.
Enclosed Porch
Also referred to as “sun rooms,” enclosed porches provide a year-round living space. Enclosed porches are appealing since they can serve as a year-round living space.
Front Porch
A front porch is the most traditional type of porch. It’s popular with homeowners wanting to create a welcoming area for guests. It remains a popular choice for both new home builds and remodeling projects.
Portico
Elevate your home's entrance with a grand portico, a timeless addition that adds curb appeal and style. It provides shelter from the elements, creating a shaded and inviting entryway.
Retractable Porch
Create a year-round living area with walls or garage doors that can be opened. When it is cold, you can close the doors or walls and bring in a heater. And when it is warm, you can open everything up and enjoy the beautiful spring air or summer breeze.

Located in Mongomery County, PA, Collegeville is a suburb of outside Philadelphia on the Perkiomen Creek. It is a little college borough, home of Ursinus College, with roughly 5,000 residents. Ursinus College opened in 1869 and the borough was incorporated in 1896.
The area Collegeville covers was a part of the original charter given to William Penn in 1684, but the borough wasn’t established till much later. The first post office in the area was established in 1847, and the first school was built in 1832. Trains had arrived by 1868, and the borough was incorporated by 1896.
Today the borough of Collegeville covers a total of 1.6 square miles of land, according to the US Census Bureau. It is located in the southeastern corner of Pennsylvania, just out of Philadelphia.
Valleyforge.org describes this American small town in these words:
Collegeville has the charm and hospitality of a small town. The area was once part of the original William Penn purchase of “All the land lying on the Pahkehoma” in 1684. The borough is home to Ursinus College, a private liberal arts college with 1,600 undergraduate students. The area offers a ton of things to do for visitors, including shopping, restaurants, parades, community parks, and more.
